Films: Fright Night (1985), Fright Night Part 2 (1988)
Alias: Jerry Dandrige, "Evil Ed" Thompson, Billy Cole the undead, Amy Peterson, Regine Dandrige, Belle, Louie, Bozworth, Richie Green
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized area
Height/Weight: That of average humans.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Modern vampires don't sparkle in the sunlight or stalk girls generations below their age. They simply take what made old vamps work, and upgrade them up to 11.
History: An urban area of the U.S. has been undergoing some rather interesting disappearances. No one knows it, but the seemingly normal Jerry Dandrige is a high vampire looking for victims every night. Now, the only one standing in his way is Charley Brewster, a horror movie buff alongside Peter Vincent, host of "Fright Night" and retired vampire killer.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: After his minions are (horrifically) dispatched of, Jerry is obliterated by sunlight in his own lair. Charley and Peter would continue to hunt and kill the vampire menace, including the posse of Jerry's sister, Regine.
Powers/Abilities: Shapeshifting, nigh-invulnerability.
Weakness: Standard vampire weaknesses, and red roses. Also, killing the lead vampire will stop any occurring conversions.
Scariness Factor: 4-Vampires are scary. Vampires with more teeth than they actually need are very scary. Vampires that can turn into misshapen wolf/bat monsters are the worst.
Trivia: -This film was conceived after director Tom Holland finally figured out the answer to what a horror buff would do if he thought his neighbor was a vampire. He would seek help from Vincent Price!
-The effects were done by the team led by Richard Edlund, who was famous for his work on "Ghostbusters".
